I’m trying on the “Current” Theme today. I like it!
OK, so the first thing I did was to copy the Default Theme. Second, edit the first few lines of “style.css” so WordPress will properly recognize this as a unique Theme. Now I’ve got a sandbox in which to experiment with my own WordPress Theme. If it ever gets out of control and I can’t fix it, or get tired of trying, then I can always revert to the Default Theme.
Some things are a matter of preference. I like to see the entire HTML framework, i.e. html, header and body tags, all in the same template. It appears that this means extra code for a bunch of templates. Maybe there’s another way around…
Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!
I’m trying out WordPress. So far it seems pretty cool. I like the tinyMCE editor!
OK. It didn’t take long to break my templates… I’ve already fixed one problem… More changes coming… I’m playing with this thing.
